My nanners !!

2

u/WalShart Oct 31 '22

There’s another video where humans are doing the same thing to a truck o bananas

2

u/wearetrashbirds Oct 26 '22

I've seen too many videos of what monkey can do to people this is a literal nightmare this is like shark cage videos if the sharks had articulate arms

2

u/Surefitkw 29d ago

Those are tourist site / urbanized monkeys. Proper wild macaques like in the Cardamom Mountains would never get within 500 yards of you. Starving, diseased, humanized macaques like you see in Lopburi are to be pitied, in my opinion.

2

u/twisted_cistern Oct 16 '22

Where are there that many monkeys running wild?

2

u/Surefitkw 29d ago

Many places, but Lopburi is the one I most often see in international news media.

1

u/This_my_angry_face Oct 13 '22

Truck full of monkeys you mean?

LMMFAO!

1

u/MikoGianni Oct 10 '22

Classic rookie mistake. He forgot to secure the load.

3

u/FlavorTownUSSR Oct 09 '22

Bunch of animals.

1

u/ripeaches Oct 08 '22

what song is this?

2

u/DovahD Oct 08 '22

Monkey business.

1

u/VivaLasVegasGuy Oct 08 '22

This reminds me on rednecks when a beer truck gets stuck

2

u/McFeely_Smackup Oct 07 '22

I just imagine aliens watching us and thinking this looks exactly the same as a new iPhone going on sale.

1

u/KeeperServant Oct 07 '22

This is going bananas

2

u/3_gloves Oct 06 '22

They look like rates 😱

1

u/Schizerk Oct 06 '22

I guess you can say, that's un-bear-able! (You thought I was gonna say bananas didn't you? Well fuck your expectations.)

6

u/cumberdong Oct 06 '22

Ok, bad day for him, but imagine you are a monkey a literal truck load of bananas pulls up....

1

u/M4gnific3nt Oct 06 '22

Planet of Apes

3

u/One_Pen_7776 Oct 05 '22

This is the monkey equivalent of the ice cream truck.

1

u/TheBasilFawlty Oct 05 '22

Well fed,it was at that precise moment they knew they could take the city by siege

1

u/No_Rock5165 Oct 05 '22

Looks like a Macey'S in San Francisco

1

u/capnkrunch13 Oct 05 '22

Thats some monkey business

2

u/stewartm0205 Oct 05 '22

What you guys need is monkey birth control.

1

u/tristen620 Oct 05 '22

Ragavan strikes again

2

u/disisdashiz Oct 05 '22

Are they like protected or sacred or something? I'd go out there with a machete and have dinner.

3

u/Lakefish_ Oct 05 '22

It's all good; the driver is paid by the hour, not the banana.

2

u/Salty5674 Oct 05 '22

Ape escape

2

u/Elibbo2 Oct 05 '22

“Wild Monkeys don’t actually like bananas” mfs after seeing this video:

1

u/choppercity223 Oct 05 '22

This gives me the itch

1

u/Dry_Road2243 Oct 05 '22

Jumanji shit

4

u/Ok-Commercial-4564 Oct 05 '22

That’s like being in Chicago with a truckload of tvs

1

u/Kaladrax182 Oct 05 '22

Should use an armored transport next time.

3

u/Fair_Waltz_5535 Oct 05 '22

This is no traffic jam! Months of immaculate planning by the monkey bandit! This is calculated! We are witnessing the beginning of a real ape tale over! Soon, planet of the apes still not be entertainment! It will be a prophecy

3

u/hertwij Oct 05 '22

ITS THE GUY FROM THE MATH QUESTIONS

3

u/Kronos398 Oct 05 '22

Let me guess, India?

5

u/stopthemadness2015 Oct 05 '22

God that’s as disgusting as a pack of rats. Why aren’t they controlled? It seems awfully dangerous and the diseases that they carry should be of concern.

1

u/crackersncheeseman Oct 05 '22

I'm going to need a banana for scale

1

u/Masterick18 Oct 05 '22

Nothing except if you live in Brazil, Sub-Saharan Africa or Southeast Asia

2

u/PuzzledEggplant1446 Oct 05 '22

Put a tarp on it next time

1

u/whitecorn Oct 05 '22

This will not be an easy mission. Monkeys slow the expedition.

2

u/DaveLesh Oct 05 '22

Curious George's extended family

1

u/Impressive_Honey_410 Oct 05 '22

I wonder where was that truck going with all those bananas

1

u/eddnor Oct 05 '22

That’s why you don’t sell bananas in monkey city

3

u/ForgottenPassword92 Oct 05 '22

Saw this the other day, but it was a child with a cart full of bananas and people stealing them. we are no better.

1

u/zHypercosm Oct 05 '22

why are there hundreds of monkeys in the middle of the city streets??

2

u/Argybargyass Oct 05 '22

Hey hey we’re the monkeys!!!

2

u/Cleffer Oct 05 '22

Someone should invent something like a lid for the back of pickup trucks... .

2

u/Hate_This_Name Oct 05 '22

Correct me if im wrong, but if this is India, then you also cant do anything about it?

2

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '22

Dont feed the monkeys!

2

u/hibernating-hobo Oct 05 '22

I have this same problem, when i ride through suburban neighborhoods with my bike-basket full of cocaine-baglets.

Housewives are vicious.

0

u/pretty_tired_man Oct 05 '22

Why do the monkeys look like bad cgi lol

2

u/GIGGGAV Oct 05 '22

No wonder people who live near monkeys hate them

1

u/Sekreid Oct 05 '22

Is this in an urban area? Oddly familiar

1

u/Brecken79 Oct 05 '22

Looks like WSB attacking a meme stock

2

u/Equivalent_Grade_352 Oct 05 '22

You can’t even get out and try and shoo them away. I for one like my scalp being attached

1

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '22

No different to any vehicle in South Africa getting fleeced lol

2

u/frozen_pope Oct 05 '22

Monke like banan

1

u/bemest Oct 05 '22

A Farange gets the same reaction walking down a street in Phuket from the bar girls.

4

u/bemest Oct 05 '22

Suddenly, a barrel full of monkeys doesn’t seem at that fun anymore.

1

u/bemest Oct 05 '22

Maybe he’s trolling for monkeys.

-1

u/Phuzion69 Oct 05 '22

Someone needs to shoot those vermin. Covid part 2 in the making right there.

2

u/mynameismy111 Oct 05 '22

They really need to chemically castrate the thousands of monkeys everywhere there

1

u/ziomalsky Oct 05 '22

It literally went bananas!

1

u/SandwichExotic Oct 05 '22

Hey, hey, it’s the monkeeeeez! Call Hitchcock 😱🫣😳

2

u/VdoubleU88 Oct 05 '22

Plot twist: those bananas are laced with poison. Monkey gang problem solved.

2

u/PsychoSpider88 Oct 05 '22

Those monkeys are reinforcing stereotypes! /s

1

u/aquoad Oct 05 '22

holy shit that's a lot of fuckin' monkeys.

2

u/sitdowndisco Oct 05 '22

A truly scary town. You walk along the wrong streets at the wrong time and you’re mobbed. Always carry a stick.

5

u/YvesStIgnoraunt Oct 05 '22

No joke. There was a monkey gang war in this town during covid, due to a lack of tourists, there was a food scarcity issue and so they fought over what was available.

3

u/Top-Resident-7367 Oct 05 '22

When math problems go wrong

1

u/Stalked_Like_Corn Oct 05 '22

The great banana caper!

1

u/tRowLow Oct 05 '22

They're fucking pest

2

u/Y2ff Oct 05 '22

As someone who lives in the United States of America, I am fascinated by how monkeys just live outside in some places.

But I bet other people would feel the same about raccoons, who are similarly in possession of thumbs and able to use them for the utmost of mischief.

0

u/BorgClanZulu Oct 05 '22

Monkey Lives Matter

2

u/MegatonsSon Oct 05 '22

Truck driver panicking on the phone:

"Hello, Police?!? I want to report a mass-theft of bananas by a bunch of hoodlums, yes, that's right, GTB....

GRAND THEFT BANANAS!

15

u/MrChibiterasu Oct 05 '22

What people forget about monkeys is that yes they can be adorable. But wild ones are assholes who are capable of literally snatching away human babies and mass theft.

2

u/AmidFuror Oct 05 '22

They sound similar to dingos.

-5

u/iOoOoIOoOoi Oct 05 '22

In other words they are just like us humans. We are both primates. Humans are worse though, a lot worse. In general, primates are pests of the planet.

1

u/DarthNylus Oct 05 '22

That's stealing.

1

u/about831 Oct 05 '22

Monkey clan attacks banana van

7

u/BobsUrUncle303 Oct 05 '22

Who would drive a truck full of bananas through monkey town without a tarp tied down over the load?

0

u/McFeely_Smackup Oct 08 '22

Hey! That's racist.

3

u/GoGoCrumbly Oct 05 '22

Monkey Town made me laugh aloud.

4

u/BobsUrUncle303 Oct 07 '22

Bananas singing in the back of the truck. Don't you take me to, Monkey Town!

10

u/shawikkywoo Oct 05 '22

From the people who brought you Snakes on a Plane, we present Monkeys on a Truck.

4

u/Nessie Oct 05 '22

I have HAD it with these motherfucking apes on this motherfucking plane.

1

u/TheRipeTomatoFarms Oct 05 '22

Reminds me of WWZ!

1

u/Rogaar Oct 05 '22

Wow how on earth could they possibly prevent that from happening. I guess tarps just don't exist in this country. /s

1

u/K00Fee Oct 05 '22

Don’t people eat monkey meat? Seems like a good idea to control the monkey population.

3

u/BobsUrUncle303 Oct 05 '22

Haven't you ever heard the old saying "tastes like monkey stew" for a foul food experience?

1

u/K00Fee Oct 05 '22

Unfortunately, I have not.

2

u/robi_750 Oct 05 '22

Robbery happened

1

u/Fyre209 Oct 05 '22

Did the monkeys from Jumanji not go back into the board?

2

u/SkateFossSL Oct 05 '22

Don’t you hate when that happens

1

u/MandyMarieB Oct 05 '22

This is heaven for the monkeys.

1

u/feochampas Oct 05 '22

the monkeys caused the traffic

1

u/redditusa2022 Oct 05 '22

This is why you electrify the rails.

2

u/ITrollTheTrollsBack Oct 05 '22

Bruh are you trying to barbecue monkeys?

2

u/usafmd Oct 05 '22

This actually happened to me while touring in northern Thailand in a pickup with fruit in the back.

1

u/are_we_there_bruh Oct 05 '22

Literally a food truck

2

u/DonTorreZ Oct 05 '22

That’s bananas

2

u/metaljm25 Oct 05 '22

Fucking looters.

3

u/Darth-Flan Oct 05 '22

Land piranha’s

1

u/Dyldor Oct 05 '22

I mean to be fair I bet not one person would complain if they just cut the traffic. The cops could stop him and instantly get why they did. They probably wouldn’t even stop…

1

u/SlunticusMaximus Oct 05 '22

Haha I know exactly where that is. Those monkeys ain’t no joke. I’ve been chased down the street there

1

u/ynotfoster Oct 05 '22

Where is it, Malaysia?

2

u/SlunticusMaximus Oct 05 '22

Lopburi Thailand. The monkeys are sacred there and there are more of them than people

3

u/Chip_Prudent Oct 05 '22

This reminds me of when I used to work at a nut butter factory and would walk through a large public park on the way home.

1

u/jim123321321 Oct 05 '22

SNATCH AND RUN! 😂

2

u/Shuena08 Oct 05 '22

Wow, that's... that's-

2

u/barto5 Oct 05 '22

Monkey business?

1

u/KBRedditing Oct 05 '22

how and how

396

u/FedeFSA Oct 05 '22

Plot twist: the monkeys caused the traffic jam in order to steal the bananas

1

u/McFeely_Smackup Oct 08 '22

Oceans Barrel (of monkeys)

1

u/OhSixTwo Oct 06 '22

I would seriously consider this. This is the town of Lopburi in central Thailand, known for, I kid you not, monkeys.

2

u/Velvet_Re Oct 05 '22

The great nana heist.

5

u/SheIsNotWorthIt Oct 05 '22

Sometimes you just have to send a message!

9

u/4_to_19 Oct 05 '22

that's genius! it will be a scene in planet of the apes five...thousand.

48

u/angryTSO Oct 05 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

Curious George and the banana heist

They found the truck way too appealing....

14

u/barto5 Oct 05 '22

*appeeling

6

u/gloatingfern Oct 05 '22

7

u/barto5 Oct 05 '22

There really is a sub for everything, isn’t there?

71

u/DynamiteWitLaserBeam Oct 05 '22

George's 75

1

u/SillyFlyGuy Oct 05 '22

This is considered a pro-primate move. A Promate.

1

u/skipstang Oct 05 '22

Monkey Business for sure!

3

u/TheCamiloCano Oct 05 '22

This shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S Again this shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S This shit is bananas, B-A-N-A-N-A-S

1

5

u/GetALife80085 Oct 05 '22

Drink a rum!

10

u/posaune123 Oct 05 '22

Didn't Google maps have a non-monkey route?

3

u/AmidFuror Oct 05 '22

This is the best route despite heavy monkey presence

23

u/Cecca105 Oct 05 '22

That sucks. Especially if that’s their main source of income.

1

u/McFeely_Smackup Oct 08 '22

Most monkeys work in IT, at least that's my experience

27

u/hayitsnine Oct 05 '22

Plot twist. He sells monkeys now.

2

u/andreeeeeaaaaaaaaa Oct 05 '22

Who will buy my sweet red monkeys?

Two monkeys for a penny

Who will buy my sweet red monkeys?

Two monkeys for a penny

Will you buy any monkeys, mistress?

Any monkey today, mistress?

Who will buy my sweet red monkeys?

Any monkey today, mistress?

Two monkeys for a penny

Ripe Monkeys ripe!

9

u/UsedToBsmart Oct 05 '22

Hopefully if it is they will not be this careless next time and better secure their load with a cover.

0

u/SpectacularSophistry Oct 05 '22

I don’t have monkeys where I live. But it wouldn’t occur to me to have a cover on a truck so 50 birds don’t swarm my car when I slow down

10

u/teenagesadist Oct 05 '22

You would if you were carrying a shitload of bird food.

4

u/ZuperChillain Oct 05 '22

I was thinking the same thing. Poor guy, I hope everything worked out.

46

u/Farang_Chong Oct 05 '22

Welcome to Lopburi

3

u/OhSixTwo Oct 06 '22

One summer day, years ago, a monkey just snatched a bag of ice from my hand.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_You1845 Oct 05 '22

I hate that place so much, and I regret ever stopping by when I was passing through.

2

u/Farang_Chong Oct 05 '22

Naaaa, not for me. Too many good memories there.

...but surely you stay away from the monkey temple surrounded by these little bastards, and if you go, no necklace, earrings, camera, wallet, glasses, sunglasses, hanging objects, shoelaces, shoes, hair, ears. Apart from these exceptions and a few others, you can go there dressed as you like.

1

u/wowsosquare Oct 05 '22

Seeing these guys on Reddit has filled me with fear and even hatred for monkeys. Please tell me they're actually mostly nice and people make friends with them

7

u/Own_Struggle_1815 Oct 05 '22

Nope. They'll eat your face

1

u/McFeely_Smackup Oct 08 '22

That only happened like two times

16

u/PM_me_yr_bonsai_tips Oct 05 '22

You could draw one of those Venn diagrams with no intersection for (people who think monkeys are cute) and (people who live in a place which has wild monkeys).

3

u/McFeely_Smackup Oct 08 '22

It's like is aliens looked at earth and said "those humans are so cute... But it wouldn't want to live with them"

28

u/SlunticusMaximus Oct 05 '22

Yup. They’ll fuck you up if they don’t get what they want

12

u/Housendercrest Oct 05 '22

Well. So do humans lol. Maybe we aren’t that different after all.

10

u/I_Heart_Weiners Oct 05 '22

So profound

2

u/snuggle_beast321 Oct 05 '22

Monkey food truck!

37

u/Daniel96dsl Oct 05 '22

They did it… those fuckers actually pulled it off.. well played 🫡

5

u/KBRedditing Oct 05 '22

Which f*ckers?

What f*ckers?

Who f*cks?

2

u/mildlyunoriginalname Oct 05 '22

None of us, obviously

120

u/BuggEyedFatWalrus Oct 05 '22

If you look closely you can see one of them run off with the catalytic converter.

16

u/Good_Ad_1386 Oct 05 '22

The banana theft was just a distraction!

2

u/LeadSufficient2359 Oct 05 '22

Well that's a lot of monkey business

Or

Did a barrel fall off of a truck

161

u/BrianThePainter Oct 05 '22

This is BANANDEMONIUM!!

4

u/Caring_Cactus Oct 05 '22

Time to go bananas

35

u/infalliblefallacy Oct 05 '22

An extravabananaganza if you will.

6

u/CT_7 Oct 05 '22

Shouldn't have stopped. It's SPEED the monkey version

10

u/heckyeah98 Oct 05 '22

Wheres the man in the yellow hat?

5

u/MonkeyChoker80 Oct 05 '22

He was the first to fall before the New Monkey Order.
